Diy Message Board Using Recycled Window and Neon Chalk Markers

When we purchased our 1960 farm house there were a couple old windows left up in the attic. I had the idea to transform one of the windows into a message board. When I was asked to review a set of liquid chalk markers, it seamed like the perfect opportunity!

How to transform an old window into a message board:

1. Give the window a good washing to remove the majority of the dirt. (I

Home Tour {My Favorite Parade Of Home}

I absolutely loved this house...
It's classic black and white, it has shutters, painted brick and a porch.
It was house #28 by Legend Homes.
I took a picture of almost every room, I'm ready to move in!
The wooden corbels, garage doors and lights make this home so charming!
Here is the entryway...
The sliding barn doors lead to the living room/office...
 Don't you love the ceiling?
This is the fireplace in the great room...
White painted brick...Beautiful!
Here is the gorgeous family room...
Look at that beautiful window and beamed ceiling.
The floor plan is so bright and open...
The only thing I might change is the railing on the staircase, it was a little too modern for me.
This kitchen...
It is SO unique...
The industrial style open shelving, the beautiful stove, the subway tile backsplash and oven hood make this so pretty!
This is the master suite...
Don't you love the accent wall?
 The master bathroom...
 I'm obsessed with the tile!
It also has a beautiful tub...
Once again...the tile!
Here is the loft upstairs...
It's a nice space for the kids.
This is one of the bedrooms upstairs...
I love how the walls have the same brick as the exterior and the fireplace.
This is an upstairs laundry room...

It's so charming with the wood walls, tiled floor and shelving.
This is the mudroom...
A great place to hang coats, backpacks and shoes.
The tile is AMAZING!
Here is a view into the bathroom...
Even the doorway is beautiful.
This house is filled with so many great details that add such charm.
In the backyard, there was another huge garage and a nice covered patio.
 This house was definitely unique.
I hope you enjoyed the tour!

Halloween Decorations...

Happy Halloween 2015!
I used a lot of my same decorations that I've had for years.
 Eat...Drink...and be...Scary!
I love the flying witch!

I actually covered the pillow with a kitchen towel...it adds a little "Halloween" to the chair.
This is the real reason I love to decorate for Halloween...
They get so excited and are super cute about all of the decor!

Here is our kitchen...
I love the little festive banner on the oven hood...
It's one of my favorite spots to decorate!
I placed some fall twigs in a container from Ikea, placed a pumpkin and framed wooden pumpkin with scrapbook paper behind it.
This year we added a little "grave yard"...
My boys spotted the tomb stones and hands at the dollar store.
We attached them to wood stakes so they don't blow away.
Happy Halloween...
I hope yours is full of "magic"!
