Halloween Decorations...

Happy Halloween 2015!
I used a lot of my same decorations that I've had for years.
 Eat...Drink...and be...Scary!
I love the flying witch!

I actually covered the pillow with a kitchen towel...it adds a little "Halloween" to the chair.
This is the real reason I love to decorate for Halloween...
They get so excited and are super cute about all of the decor!

Here is our kitchen...
I love the little festive banner on the oven hood...
It's one of my favorite spots to decorate!
I placed some fall twigs in a container from Ikea, placed a pumpkin and framed wooden pumpkin with scrapbook paper behind it.
This year we added a little "grave yard"...
My boys spotted the tomb stones and hands at the dollar store.
We attached them to wood stakes so they don't blow away.
Happy Halloween...
I hope yours is full of "magic"!

Halloween Decor 2014

Our great room is all ready for Halloween!
It is one of our favorite times of the year!
I love our new fireplace, the white background makes all of the decorations show up so well!
If you'd like to see our fireplace transformation, you can see it HERE.
I got the witch years ago on clearance from Tai Pan, the skull candles are a new addition this year and I found them at Michael's.  I made the paper bats and stick them on with the blue painters tape, that way it won't pull off my paint when I take them down.

Every morning, My 7 year old comes down for breakfast and says, "Eat, Drink & Be Scary" in his vampire voice!

Here is another view from the kitchen.
Here is my bookshelf all decorated for Halloween!
I actually cut up an old cardboard box to fit the backs and wrapped them in wrapping paper.
I've been using the same ones for about 3 years!

My sister gave me an "early" birthday present this year and gave me the books & potion bottle, I love them!
My kids are really into potions!
This is our favorite candy dish "mummy"!
I've had him for over 10 years, we've had to glue the nose back on a few times, but he still looks cute!!
 Happy Halloween!!

Fall & Halloween Decor 2013

Welcome...

To our home!

I kept the front porch pretty simple this year.

I kept my green topiaries in the pots & added wreaths to top of the planters.
Here is our entry...

It's the same as last year.
I just added a burlap bow to my vase.
I also added a little foliage with some pumpkins to the wreath on this wall.
I just added this collage to my living room.
Our piano area...
I just added a few pumpkins to the piano.
I added a touch of "fall" to the wreath...
The piano is kind of like having a mantel to decorate ...
I decided to add another little pumpkin to my lamp table.
I love the stem on this one!
I'm also loving my yellow accents with all of the fall colors.
Next, is my dining area...
I added some fall leaves to the chandelier & table.

My family room is the "Halloween" room...

I kept my mantle the same as last year too...
The only thing different is an added  "Happy Halloween" sign & few pumpkins to the mantle.
Last year, I added polk-a-dot wrapping paper to the back of my shelves.
This year, I kept it the same, but instead of potion bottles on the one shelf,
I added this cute owl...
Isn't he cute?
He was only $3.00 at Walmart!
Then I put him on a pumpkin from the dollar store.
He even has a little hole in the bottom, so he fit right on the stem of the pumpkin.
He's a new favorite!
Wow..that was a long post!
Are you ready for fall & Halloween?
It is definitely a favorite time of year for me.
I hope you all have a "Spook-tacular" Halloween!!

Fall/Halloween Front Porch

Here are a few pictures of our front porch this year...
We had our house painted this summer & I'm actually loving the black door!
You can see the before & after HERE.
The color of the door really makes my wreath POP...
I just added the "Happy Halloween" sign to the middle of my wreath.

Then I hung some smaller wreaths on my metal pots...
I also placed some yellow fall flowers in the bottom containers...
The yellow color makes me happy!!
My pots are always fun to decorate for the different holidays!

Then on your way up to the door this is on the inside wall...
I LOVE pumpkins...

Especially our light-up one...I think he has a pretty cute smile!
AND
Here is one final picture of the whole porch...
Happy Halloween!!
