Home Tour {My Favorite Parade Of Home}

I absolutely loved this house...
It's classic black and white, it has shutters, painted brick and a porch.
It was house #28 by Legend Homes.
I took a picture of almost every room, I'm ready to move in!
The wooden corbels, garage doors and lights make this home so charming!
Here is the entryway...
The sliding barn doors lead to the living room/office...
 Don't you love the ceiling?
This is the fireplace in the great room...
White painted brick...Beautiful!
Here is the gorgeous family room...
Look at that beautiful window and beamed ceiling.
The floor plan is so bright and open...
The only thing I might change is the railing on the staircase, it was a little too modern for me.
This kitchen...
It is SO unique...
The industrial style open shelving, the beautiful stove, the subway tile backsplash and oven hood make this so pretty!
This is the master suite...
Don't you love the accent wall?
 The master bathroom...
 I'm obsessed with the tile!
It also has a beautiful tub...
Once again...the tile!
Here is the loft upstairs...
It's a nice space for the kids.
This is one of the bedrooms upstairs...
I love how the walls have the same brick as the exterior and the fireplace.
This is an upstairs laundry room...

It's so charming with the wood walls, tiled floor and shelving.
This is the mudroom...
A great place to hang coats, backpacks and shoes.
The tile is AMAZING!
Here is a view into the bathroom...
Even the doorway is beautiful.
This house is filled with so many great details that add such charm.
In the backyard, there was another huge garage and a nice covered patio.
 This house was definitely unique.
I hope you enjoyed the tour!

Beautiful Homes In "Nashville"..

I was able to go with my husband to Nashville, Tennessee a few weeks ago.
We had such a great time visiting all of the sites!
Brad Paisley was even playing at the Grand Ole Opry when we were there!
I love my country music, but I also loved seeing all of the beautiful homes there!

On our first day, we actually went on the ABC "NASHVILLE" tour.
Does anyone else love that tv show?
It's one of my favorites!
Here are the homes of two of my favorite characters in the show:
Here is the character Deacon's home.
It looks like the roof might of had a leak, but it's definitely the house you see on tv!

Here is the character Rayna James' home in the show:

I can't imagine how gorgeous it would look when all of the trees have their leaves.
The lady who owns the home, actually lives there even when they are taping the show.
Here are some of the other homes we happened to see.
These neighborhoods are so gorgeous...
I loved the pillars on the front of this house!
Here is one more view a little closer...
I love how it has a side porch!
This home definitely has charm and the yard was beautiful too!
In fact, I noticed most of the homes have a lot of land.
The yards are also full of gorgeous trees!

Here are a few homes that are very traditional...
I love a white house with black shutters!
I think the black and white looks really classic and clean!

I love all of the windows too!

This home was made of a beautiful stone.
I like the planters in the entrance too!

This porch was adorable!
I love the arched wood detail!

This was actually a historical home.
It has a cute fence around it too...CHARMING!

Here is one more of my favorite homes...
I thought of my grandma when I saw this home...RED was her favorite color!

On our last day, we visited the McGavock Confederate Cemetery in Franklin, Tennessee.
The land for the cemetery was donated by the McGavock Planter family.
This is the historical plantation.
It was gorgeous and it had an amazingly huge porch!
 Look at those columns!
I love the detail that they put into building older homes.
There isn't anything more charming than a home with columns, a porch and shutters!
I have to say, Nashville has charm!!

Model Homes Tour....

A few weekends ago, there was an open house at Daybreak, for a new phase of houses being built.
It was so much fun!
There were seven different houses that we were able to walk through.
This new phase of homes surrounds a small lake & there are walking trails all the way around it.
Some of the houses are just a few steps away from the walking path and lake.

I absolutely LOVE the style of homes they are building.
They are beautiful & have so much charm!
I love that most of them have porches & extra decorative woodwork on the outside.
Each one is unique & different in it's own way.
This was one of my favorites...
It was huge & had a great view of the lake.
The builder is Rainey Homes.
I think this is such a great idea...storage under the porch.
This was my absolute favorite home...
It was also built by Rainey Homes.
The porch is perfect...it wraps all the way around!
The woodwork, pillars & shake on the front of  this home made my heart skip a beat...I LOVE it!
The inside is so bright & beautiful!
My kids' decided it was the perfect house for us...I agree!
It has such an open floor plan.
When you enter, it has the kitchen to your left...

I love how some of the cupboards are a light blue color.  Do you also see the beamed ceiling?
It is gorgeous!
The living room is to the right...
It is so bright...I loved all of the windows!
This staircase is centered to the back of the house, it's between the kitchen & living room...
Do you notice the hint of light blue on the top of the rails? It matched the kitchen cabinets.
I love the touch of color!
I also like how it had windows on the wall going up.
This house definitely isn't dark & dreary!
I also love all of the storage...
This is on a wall in the master bedroom...the middle opens up to hide a flat screen!
I also loved the doors...
Don't you love the woodwork & window at the top?
This house & most of the others we toured were full of  little details that make a house feel so charming.
I will be doing one more post to show you the inside of a few of the other homes, they really are beautiful!
