Inspiring Christmas Wreaths...

Our house is all decorated for Christmas!  You can see the tour of our home HERE.
I love to use wreaths when I decorate!
I was asked by BloomNation to share some of my favorite holiday wreaths.
If you have never heard of BloomNation, it's a flower delivery service that supports local florists through their online marketplace.

This is the wreath I used in my kitchen this year...
I love how it's simple, but adds just the right amount of color to the room.
It's just a foam wreath wrapped with red and white ribbon.  The added greenery at the top makes it a little more festive too!

I also like to use ribbon to hang a wreath...
I  took some greenery off of a garland and added the berries to the top of the ribbon to hide the nail.
Hanging a wreath over a mirror also looks beautiful and makes a great statement in a room.

Using Garland is another inexpensive way to make a few wreaths.
I did this last year and ended up with few wreaths for under $10.00.
You can see that post HERE.

You can also find more holiday wreath ideas on my Pinterest Board.

Decorating With Garland

I've found that garland is a cheap and easy way to decorate for the holidays.
I got my garland at Michaels for 50% off, so it came to about $8.00.
With one garland I was able to make:
A little wreath...
I just cut the length I needed and used a twist tie to secure it into the shape of a wreath and hung it with a striped ribbon.  It worked perfect for the chalkboard in my KITCHEN.

A swag for my entryway...
I cut two pieces the same size length and twisted it with a tie at the top and added a ribbon.

Decorations for my baskets...
I cut these smaller pieces and used metal twine from the dollar store to secure them to the baskets.

I also used one more garland to decorate my TREE...
A garland cut into smaller pieces goes a long way on your tree.

I even had some left to decorate my clock ...

I also added some greenery to my lanterns on our MANTLE...
This is a great time to purchase your garlands for next year because a lot of them start to go on clearance.
It's amazing how many different items you can make with one strand of garland.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!!

Christmas In The Living Room

Here is our living room all decorated for the Christmas Season...
I kept it pretty simple.
Putting up too many decorations starts to feel like clutter, it drives me crazy by the end of the holidays.
Here is the corner  of the living room with our tree.
You see more about the tree HERE.
Here is our entryway...
I filled my shelf by the door with some small Christmas decorations...
It makes the space bright and cheery.
Here is the table in our hallway...
I also put some greenery on the baskets this year.
I found these adorable pinecone candles at Walmart.
Here is one more view from the side.
I hung a Christmas wreath over the mirror.
I added a lighted garland to my piano this year...
I love how it looks at night too.

A close up of our silver reindeer...
I'm wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Mantle/Family Room Decor

Here is our mantle this year...
I really like how it came together!
I filled my lanterns with little trees and used epsom salt for the snow.
Then I just added the greenery/berries to the top of them.
I got this cute metal bucket to place my tree in this year.
We are a family of "6", so it was perfect that they had printed "No. 6" on the burlap!
Here is a view of the whole room.

I love my Peace, Love & Noel sign.
The burlap backing also matched the burlap sign on the bucket for our tree!
I also added a Christmas pillow to the couch.
I love how cozy Christmas makes our house feel.
I'm thinking our dog Mickey feels the same way!
After getting all of the decorations up, I was ready to collapse on the couch too.
I'm always surprised by how much work it is to get it all set up.
Now I'm hoping we can just relax and enjoy the Christmas season!
